The fibers are mechanically linked together by fiber entanglement and friction after the fine needle hooks repeatedly enter the fibrous web. Needle punched fabrics have characteristic periodicity in their structural architecture resulting from the interaction of fibers with needle hooks. The performance of the needle punched nonwoven, including filtration efficiency, pressure drop, working life, cleaning performance, dust cake formation, and mechanical and chemical resistance, is affected by fiber dimensions, fabric porosity, thickness, and fabric permeability.
Product weights are generally used between 50 and 60 g, and the width is 17.5 cm and 26 cm.
It is used in FFP masks.
